DIVISION BREAKDOWN

+ T-Ball: Ages 4 & 5 (age 5 as of December 31, 2019)

+ Modified Kid Pitch Pitch: 8U > Ages 6+7+8

+ Minors Division: 10U > Ages 8+9+10

+ Majors Division: 12U > Ages 11+12

+ Juniors Division: 15U > Ages 13+14+15

CODE OF CONDUCT - I.E. RULES

THESE RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED THIS YEAR 2019!

+ The Field

The only people allowed on the field are:

    •    Players in that specific game
    •    Registered Coaches
    •    Umpires
    •    You will be given 2 reminders per season - a 3rd reminder may result in in a one week suspension of your child//player. 

+ The Dugout

Dugout rules:

    •   Only players of the team playing and registered Coaches are allowed in the Dugout
    •   There is no food in the Dugout, no exceptions
    •    Drinks are allowed in the Dugout

+ The Uniform

All players on the field must wear:

    •    Team Jersey provided by the league
    •    Team Cap provided by the league - if you prefer to purchase your own fitted cap, that is allowed
    •    White Baseball Pants with Belt Loops
    •    Team socks provided by the league
    •    Team Color Belt, click here for list or ask your Head Coach
    •    Baseball Cleats
    •    Tucked in at all times
    •    Tzitzis/Tzitzit are absolutely allowed to be worn outside - never a question - not now, never was.

+ No Pets

  • Pets are not allowed onto the Blue Star premises - including the parking lot. You will be asked to leave immediately.

+ Weather 

  • Weather conditions will dictate whether a game will be suspended or not. You will be notified by the league and by your manager for this information.

+ Clean up all your garbage. 

  • This does not need an explanation

UNIFORMS

THE LEAGUE PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • 1 Jersey - handed out by the team manager on opening day.
  • 1 Pair Baseball Socks (Based on Team Color) - handed out by the team manager on opening day.
  • 1 Baseball Cap - handed out by the team manager on opening day.
  • Any lost/damaged or stolen equipment will be replaced by the party responsible for the damage. a


PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Blue Star Requires All Players to Wear White Baseball Pants

  1. No grays
  2. No stripes 
  3. A player found not wearing white pants will be reminded once and the 2nd time, will not be able to play
  4. Team colored belt
    + Your team manager will confirm color prior to the first game of the season.
  5. Baseball cleats - not football cleats and not soccer cleats
    BlueStar offers a "Cleat Swap Program"
  6. Baseball Mitt/Glove
  7. Protective cup required(for boys)
    + The umpire reserves the ability to remove a player not wearing a cup from the game.
  8. Sliding Shorts
    + Not necessarily required but recommended for those kids that are stealing bases

Blue Star offers a Junior Umpire Program + a Volunteer Program

LOST AND FOUND

+ The snack stand will serve as the Lost & Found Booth during Game Hours.

+ Try checking multiple times

+ Note: The field is closed and locked in the evenings

+ Please Note:

are not responsible for any items you lost at or on the fields.

+ All Lost & Found items that have not been claimed by seasons end, will be donated
